Vehicle Park Stickers

In time for the spring recreational season, the Trumbull Parks and Recreation Commission has announced its 2014 Trumbull Vehicle Sticker Policy. While entrance to all Trumbull Parks is free and open to the public, parking within the parks is limited to Trumbull Residents Only. Vehicle Stickers will be issued to Trumbull residents who present a valid motor vehicle registration for private passenger and/or combination vehicles. Commercial vehicles are excluded from Trumbull Parks by Town Ordinance. The Vehicle Stickers allow parking at Town Parks for those Trumbull residents who wish to access the Parks system.

Vehicle Stickers will be available for purchase beginning on Thursday April 10, 2014. The fee for each Vehicle Sticker is $5.00. They are available at the Recreation Department, 5892 Main Street, Mondays through Fridays from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. An online purchase option is also available for an additional $2.00 mailing and processing fee. All other permits or stickers are no longer valid and should be removed from your vehicle. Guests and Nanny Passes will also be available at the Recreation Office only.

It is regionally recognized that Trumbull takes great pride in maintaining a variety of outstanding parks and park facilities for its residents. Vehicle Stickers help ensure that these parks and parks facilities are easily accessible to residents of Trumbull.

Vehicle Stickers will be issued on an annual basis hereafter and enforcement will be year-round throughout the entire parks system. Any vehicles parking on Trumbull Parks without a 2014 Vehicle Sticker shall be subject to a $25 fine.

Entrance to the Town Swimming Pools will still require the display of a driver’s license or other valid photo ID evidencing residency in Trumbull.

The Parks and Recreation Commission, all departmental personnel and volunteers continue to work hard to maintain and secure these great assets for our citizens and to add to Trumbull’s quality of life.
