TEAM TRANSFER STATION GUIDELINES
Trumbull Residents: Driver's License is required.
Easton and Monroe Residents: Tickets are required.
*No Liquids * No Propane Tanks * No Rocks, Dirt or Sand*
Recycling at Transfer Station - (no tickets required for Easton and Monroe residents):
SINGLE STREAM RECYCLING: The Town of Trumbull is now a single stream recycler. All recyclables may be brought to the Transfer Station. Place all residential recyclables over a green wall next to the main building marked “Single Stream Recycling.” Please refer to the Trumbull Single Stream Recycling list for acceptable items (see link above). Please flatten boxes and no plastic bags.
SCRAP METAL RECYCLING: Place all scrap metal items over a gray wall marked “Metal.”
ELECTRONIC WASTE RECYCLING: Used electronics are collected in a separate container at the transfer station.
ADDITIONAL ITEMS FOR RECYCLING:
Motor Oil - Car Batteries – Antifreeze – Cooking Oil. Place all items inside the main building.
Grass - Leaves - Weeds - Twigs - Tree Limbs (four feet long & six inch diameter)
No Stumps - No Railroad Ties or Logs with Creosote
NO PLASTIC BAGS
GOODWILL COLLECTION TRAILER:
Donate your gently used items to Goodwill. An attendant is available for assistance and to give donation tax receipts. The trailer is open the same hours as the Transfer Station/Recycling Center Mon – Fri 7 am – 2:45 pm and Sat 7 am – 11:45 am.
DISPOSAL FEES REQUIRED FOR THE FOLLOWING ITEMS:
(Demolition tickets are required - $12 per 125 lbs. Tickets may be purchased at the Highway Department at 366 Church Hill Road in Trumbull.)
Ceramic tile - Dishware - Sheetrock - Plasterboard - Roof Shingles - Plaster - Cement
TIRES: $2.00 per tire
SINGLE STREAM RECYCLING IN CURBSIDE BINS:
Please refer to the Trumbull Single Stream Recycling list for acceptable items (see link above). Please flatten boxes and no plastic bags.
If greater capacity is needed, additional Recycling Blue Bins may be purchased at the Highway Department for $5.00. The Highway Department is located at 366 Church Hill Road and is open between the hours of 7 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. For more information, telephone the Highway Department at (203) 452-5070.

Goodwill Collection at the TEaM transfer station: An attendant will be on hand to assist with bags and give tax receipt coupons. Please contact Goodwill directly at www.goodwill.org or ask the attendant for a list of acceptable items. The collection center will be open the same transfer station hours of operation: M-F 7:00am – 2:45pm and Sat. 7:00am – 11:45am
