TRUMBULL ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT COMMISSION

Our Mission:

Trumbull Economic Development  is the Town's liaison to the commercial-industrial business sector and the strategic safeguard of intelligent and creative economic development in our community. Our mission is to service and strengthen the town's economic base in a manner consistent with current innovations while maintaining the Town's historic vision of growth.

• To establish and maintain this Economic Development web site, in order to promote the Town of Trumbull's strengths and assist interested parties in locating within our community.
  
• To personally meet with key businesses, taxpayers and leaders in order to improve relationships and encourage continued occupancy and growth within Trumbull.
  
• To review existing zoning regulations in order to ascertain ways of intelligently expanding our tax base.
  
• To review existing larger tracts of vacant land within the town and establish the Highest and Best Use of these parcels. Consideration must be given to the tax consequences and economic and social impact of alternative land use.
