Anthony is a graduate of Fairfield College Preparatory School, class of 1987. He received a bachelors degree in accounting from American University in Washington, D.C. and a law degree from Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. After law school, Anthony worked for the Georgia Attorney General, litigating tax and other financial cases for several years before working with Arthur Anderson as a tax attorney. He established his own law office in Trumbull in 2002 and currently practices law in Fairfield.

Anthony became involved in Trumbull town government in 2002, eventually serving on the Town Council, the Land Acquisition Committee, and as Treasurer. Additionally, he currently serves on the Pension Board and the Capital Improvements Committee. He represents the Trumbull Housing Authority as an attorney, and has volunteered his time organizing and assisting Trumbull High School’s ACE Foundation. His wife, Katherine, served on the Trumbull Arts Commission.

Anthony lives in the Long Hill section of Trumbull with his family. His children attend Trumbull schools and his wife works as a speech therapist in Madison Middle School.
