The Youth in Crisis Project – provides crisis intervention, short term counseling and emergency shelter services to youth 11 to 17 years of age, who have runaway or are otherwise homeless. The Youth in Crisis Project is available 24 hours a day by calling 374-9473. Rape Crisis Service – Center for Women and Families provides assistance to victims of sexual assault and information concerning rape. Call: 333-2233 – 24 hours. Info Line – hours a day, provides information on all services offered throughout Connecticut. Phone: 1-800-203-1234 or 211. Narcotic Anonymous – 1-800-627-3543 – 24 hour hotline will connect callers with a member in their area or give meeting information. Alcoholics Anonymous – provides information/aid from 7 AM to 11 PM: 888-624-6063 Battered Women Services – Counseling, referral and emergency housing at Center for Women and Families – 334-6154.
