Welcome from the Director
The Town of Trumbull Parks and Recreation Department is pleased to present our 2017 spring and summer recreation programs and activities to the community. We hope this wide variety of programs will include something for everyone. Children can make memories at playground camp while seniors can relive them while dancing on Tuesday nights at the Town Hall Gazebo.
In addition to the many program offerings, we encourage you to enjoy the spectacular New England summer by taking advantage of the pools at Beach Park and Tashua Knolls, or strolling the beautiful acres of park land and miles of trails available right here in our own backyard. Take a walk in the beautiful Twin Brooks Park, bike along the Pequonnock River trails, enjoy the dog park at Indian Ledge with your best friend or take in a ball game down at Unity Park. If you are in Trumbull, you can’t be far from a spectacular public park.
If golf is your game, grab your clubs and head up to Tashua Knolls Golf Course. Bobby Brown, PGA Professional and his staff are ready to welcome you to the home of the 2017 Connecticut Amateur Championship. You can also enjoy a twilight round with the family on the 9-hole Glen course. If it has been a while since you’ve hit the links, Bobby and his professional staff would be happy to give your game a tune-up on the range or in the Miklus Indoor Training Center.
Summers are a time for outdoor fun with friends and family and you won’t find a town in Connecticut with more opportunities than your hometown. The staff of the Parks and Recreation Department are here to help you make memories to last a lifetime.
