Vehicle Parking Permits / Park Stickers

2023-24 Park stickers will once again be distributed with your July vehicle tax bill. If you require a Park Pass for a car that was not on the town tax records prior to October 1, 2022 please call our office at 203-452-5060. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Sincerely,

Your Team at Trumbull Parks and Recreation

Our new pink 2023-2024 Park Stickers are mailed out with your motor vehicle tax bill in July.

The 2022 (purple) park stickers are valid until August 1, 2023.

Residents

While entrance to all Trumbull Parks is open to the public, parking within the parks requires a Vehicle Parking Permit year-round (July 1st -June 30th). In accordance with the Parks and Recreation Commission regulations, Vehicle Parking Permits shall be issued to Trumbull Town residents at no cost. Vehicle registration will serve as proof of residency.

Non-Residents

Non- resident parking passes are available for purchase in our office for $112.  Our office is located at 5892 Main Street, Trumbull, CT.

Violations

Vehicles without current parking permits are subject to a $25 violation. Previous years vehicle parking permits are only valid until August 1, 2023.  The new pink 2023-2024 park stickers will be valid from July 1, 2023-June 30, 2024.  Failure to obtain or affix a valid Park Permit sticker (or hangtag) in a timely manner is not grounds for a waiver.

Obtain a Parking Permit

We will mail up to FOUR Trumbull Park Stickers at no cost to those with registered vehicles who are paying taxes to the Town of Trumbull.  If you have more than four vehicles, you may request additional park stickers for the other vehicles by bringing proof of registration into our office. Office hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM.  Please call us at 203-452-5060 for additional information.

Documentation Needed

If you need additional park stickers, you will need to provide a current, non-expired, vehicle registration reflecting a tax town of Trumbull (Number 144). If your current license has the change of address sticker on the back and/or your registration has been updated by crossing out the ’old’ address, you will also need to present one of the supporting documents from the list.

If you cannot get to the office during regular business hours, please mail a photocopy of your car registration and your license with a self-addressed stamped envelope and we will return a permit by mail. Please include your name, address, email address and daytime phone number. Please allow two weeks for processing.

The Trumbull Parks and Recreation Commission, all departmental personnel, and volunteers continue to work hard to maintain and secure these great assets for our citizens and to add to Trumbull’s quality of life.
