Teens

The teen services department of the Trumbull Library is a great place for teens to gather to do homework, chat with friends, and utilize a variety of materials.

The main area of the teen department offers four desktop computers capable of printing in both black & white and color. There are also two charging tables where teens can work while charging their laptops and phones - these tables also have whiteboard tops for collaborative work. Just ask the reference desk for dry erase markers and erasers!

In the main area you will also find the graphic novel and manga collection, the new books display, the current middle grade and high school Nutmeg Book Award Nominees, and non-fiction collection. In the back corner of the library you will find the regular fiction collection. Teen materials are geared towards students ranging from grades 6 - 12.

Also be sure to check out the variety of special events and programs the library offers to the teen community. Handouts are available in the teen department or you can browse and register for events using one of the links below.
