Tidy Up Trumbull is an annual event that occurs around Earth Day and is coordinated by Trumbull Community Women. The event is an opportunity for residents, businesses, organizations, sports teams, and civic organizations to make a difference in beautifying our parks, trails, roadsides, and parking areas. This is a great opportunity for students to earn community service hours.
Trumbull Community Women organizes clean up sites and works with the Trumbull Parks Department to guarantee success for the whole project. Garbage bags will be provided by Trumbull Community Women.
If your organization would like clean up a particular area, contact trumbullcommunitywomen@gmail.com to be placed on the master schedule to eliminate site duplication and to assure proper trash disposal. Groups may also work on other days if they wish. If your group does not have a work site or project in mind, one will be assigned.
