Beginning immediately, the Town Clerk’s office hours will be 9am-12pm for all regular business, including Absentee Ballots. All recordings must be filed before noon or the drop box may be used for recording the following day. From 12pm-5pm the Town Clerk’s Office will be open for election business only. Please be aware that the Town Clerk’s office is closed for lunch daily from 12:30pm-1:30pm.
To check the status of your Absentee Ballot or Absentee Ballot application, go to MyVoteCT.gov, scroll down and click on Am I Registered to Vote? Please allow time for your ballot or application to be entered in the system. If the website says your ballot or application was not yet received, please recheck the website after a few days before calling the Town Clerk.
The Town Clerk’s office will be open for election business only on Monday, November 2nd and Tuesday, November 3rd (Election Day). Absentee Ballots may be obtained up to and including Monday, November 2, 2020.
Please note also that except for the Town Clerk’s office and Election Day Registration, Town Hall will be closed on Tuesday, November 3, 2020 (Election Day).
