Library Re-reopening Announcement

Hello Trumbull!

The Trumbull Library is happy to announce the reopening for in-person service starting March 1st.  Patrons will be allowed into the building for browsing from 3 pm to 6 pm, Monday through Friday.  We will add Saturday hours from 1 pm to 5 pm beginning March 13th.  At this time, restrictions will remain with regard to computer access, furniture and meeting room usage and we will maintain a maximum occupancy limit of 25 patrons in the building at a time.  It is our hope that with continued improvement in local COVID infection rates we will soon begin the process of reopening the Fairchild Library as well as expanding hours and services, with the ultimate goal of complete restoration of service in the months ahead.  We look forward to seeing you!

If you cannot wear a mask or are unable to enter the building, we continue to offer our contact-free curbside borrowing service, Monday through Friday 8:30 am - 5:30 pm.  Simply place holds online at https://www.trumbull-ct.gov/Library or call us at 203-452-5197 between 1 pm and 6 pm.  Also, if you are unable to come to the library due to being homebound, please consider our Homebound Delivery service.

Check out our great online library programming via Zoom and Facebook Live.  If you have questions or concerns, need a library card or are seeking research help, please email referencelibrarian@trumbull-ct.gov.

Stay well,

Stefan Lyhne-Nielsen

Director, Trumbull Library System
