Once again this year, Trumbull park stickers were mailed to residents along with their motor vehicle tax bills. The new stickers are effective from July 1, 2021 to June 30, 2022. These stickers will be enforced beginning on August 1, 2021, giving residents a grace period to affix the new stickers on their vehicles.
The Parks and Recreation Department is able to issue up to four stickers per motor vehicle tax bill. Additional stickers are available by contacting the Department at 203-452-5060. Residents who receive more than one sticker should be careful to apply the correct sticker to the vehicle with a corresponding license plate. Please note that the printing company prints the stickers in batches of two at a time, so residents may receive an extra sticker marked VOID. In that event, please discard the voided sticker.
For residents who lease their vehicles and do not receive a motor vehicle tax bill, the park stickers were sent in a separate mailing. Anyone with a leased vehicle that is not registered in Trumbull should contact the Parks and Recreation Department to request a park sticker.
Finally, the motor vehicle tax bills and park stickers are sent out for vehicles on the October 1, 2020 grand list. Vehicles purchased or leased after that date will not be included in the sticker program, and residents should contact the Department to request a park sticker.
