Trumbull Government Buildings Mask and Face Covering Requirements - Effective November 29, 2021

Face Mask

Over the past few weeks, there has been a significant increase in COVID-19 cases in the State of Connecticut.  COVID-19 cases are now rising faster in Connecticut than in any other state, averaging 738 daily cases over the past seven days, up 116% from two weeks prior. No other state has experienced such a rapid increase, per data aggregated by the New York Times.  With the trends heading in the wrong direction heading into the holidays, it is important to remain vigilant and stay ahead of the curve.

Effective Monday, November 29, 2021, all Town employees and visitors, both fully vaccinated and unvaccinated, MUST wear a mask while indoors at all Town of Trumbull government buildings. Employees in their private office are not required to wear a mask or face covering while alone in their private office.

Town of Trumbull Government Buildings include: Town Hall, Parks & Recreation Building (Tellalian Building), Trumbull Health Department, Trumbull Senior Center, Public Works Buildings, Trumbull Emergency Medical Services, Trumbull Police Department, Trumbull Library System Main Library & Fairchild Nichols Memorial Library, Long Hill Administration Building (Board of Education Administration Building), Tashua Knolls Golf Course (Inside Only), Mary J. Sherlach Counseling Center, Trumbull Nature and Arts Center.  These changes do not impact the current mask mandates for the Town of Trumbull Board of Education buildings.
