Sewer Construction in Huntington Turnpike (Route 108) Trumbull, CT
The Trumbull WPCA is announcing that a temporary daytime closure of Huntington Turnpike (Route 108) in Trumbull for the construction of sanitary sewers. Traffic between Teeter Rock Road and North Street will be detoured during the closures.
This project is expected to occur on Monday June 20, 2011 through Friday July 1, 2011. The regular work schedule for this project is 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (Monday - Friday). No work will be performed on Saturdays or Sundays.
Southbound traffic will be directed to turn left onto Teeter Rock Road, then right onto Butternut Lane, then right onto North Street and then left onto Huntington Turnpike.
Northbound traffic will be directed to turn right onto North Street, then left onto Butternut Lane, then left onto Teeter Rock Road and then right onto Huntington Turnpike.
Motorists should be aware that modifications or extensions to this schedule may become necessary due to weather delays or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to maintain a safe speed when driving through the detour areas.
