Knit Toy – Part Two Saturday, February 11th from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Learn to knit an adorable Jackalope and a new technique for knitting legs two-at-a-time. Once you learn to make your mythical plush pal, patrons will be ready to cast on socks, mittens and sleeves two-at-a-time. Participants should know how to cast on, bind off and knit. In class you will conquer decreases and increases with the help of Bristol instructor, Dawn Zillich - The Stitching Coach. Adventurous beginners to knitting experts will find this class fun. The Romantics Books Club Wednesday, February 15th from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Join our new romance book club for patrons 21 years and older! We will meet virtually every third Wednesday to discuss the book. Copies of this month’s pick will be available at the circulation desk. This month's pick: The Unhoneymooners by Christina Lauren. Do It Yourself: Embroidery Hoop Macramé Thursday, February 16th from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Join us to make your very own macramé wall hanging. Program participants will knot cotton cords onto an embroidery hoop to create a lovely wall hanging. All supplies are included for this event. Registration is required.

What Can It Be? Tuesday, February 21st from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Join our class to learn about chronic conditions of the lower spine, minimally invasive treatment options, plus a Q & A with Board-Certified Orthopedic Surgeon Dr. Gerard Girasole. Children's and Teen Programming

Panel Picks: YA Book Club Wednesday, February 15th from 5 p.m. to 6:10 p.m. This year, the young adult book club is back and more different than ever! This time, as Panel Picks, each month we will read and discuss the first collected volume of a graphic novel or manga series. If applicable, we will watch the first episode or two of the related series, movie trailers, compare other adaptations, etc as well as discuss the comic itself! This month we are reading March Book 1 by John Lewis. For ages 12 +. Registration is requested but not required.

Paper Plate Heart Wreath Tuesday, February 21st from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. Children will use a paper plate, hearts, and stickers to design their own heart wreath. Younger and older siblings welcome! Please register for the amount of children participating.

Toddler Time for 2s and 3s Monday, February 13th from 9:30 p.m. to 10 a.m. Join Ms. Chelsie in person for stories, songs, and dances. Ages 2-3. To accommodate space restrictions, we will limit the number of participants each week. Register here.

Baby Time Tuesday, February 14th from 11 a.m. to 11:20 a.m. Ages birth to 2. Meet in-person at the library for story time! Listen to a story, sing songs, and perform finger plays. Registration is not required.

Astrophotography Wednesday, February 22nd from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Learn the basics of Astrophotography with Jim Mazur from the Astronomical Society of New Haven. Jim will share his experiences, the different levels of astrophotography ranging from little effort and simple equipment through intermediate that includes more equipment and image manipulation to advanced that requires a lot of effort, image processing software, and expensive equipment. Registration required, ages 12 and up.
