Knit Mittens with the Stitching Coach Saturday, March 11th from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Learn to knit a sporty pair of mittens to wave away the winter chill. Patrons should be comfortable casting on, knitting-in-the-round, purling and binding off. In class you will conquer knitting stripes and creating thumb gussets with the help of Bristol instructor, Dawn Zillich – The Stitching Coach. Register here. 

Tom O'Carroll: Irish Humourist and Folksinger Sunday, March 12th from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Dublin-born folklorist, folk-singer and instrumentalist Tom O'Carroll brings a wealth of stories, humor, wit and history in his performance. Register here. 

Clarity Boards: A Spring Quest Sunday, March 19th from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Go beyond vision boards and create a focus map for the spring season. Together we will work through our thoughts, determine areas we seek clarity, and map out how we will journey through the spring season intentionally to gain insight on your chosen topics. All supplies provided. Adults only. Register here.

Children's and Teen Programming

Panel Picks: YA Book Club Wednesday, March 15th from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. This year, the young adult book club is back and more different than ever! This time, as Panel Picks, each month we will read and discuss the first collected volume of a graphic novel or manga series. If applicable, we will watch the first episode or two of the related series, movie trailers, compare other adaptations, etc as well as discuss the comic itself! This month we are reading The Last Session: Roll for Initiative by Jasmine Walls. For ages 12 +. Registration is requested but not required.

Family Trivia Night: Disney Thursday, March 16th from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Join Miss Elise in person at the library for Family Trivia Night. Families will work together to answer five rounds of Disney questions. Recommended for grades 2 and up, but all ages welcome. Top two scoring teams and one randomly selected team will earn a small prize. Registration is required. Please include the total number of people attending when you register.

Children's Quilled Snail Craft Saturday, March 18th from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Children will learn a new rolled paper technique called "quilling" to decorate the shell of paper snail in unique patterns and swirls. All materials provided. Recommended for grades 3-6. Register here.

Imagine Dragons Saturday, March 11th from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Are you a fan of Wings of Fire? And everything related to dragons. Come and join us to celebrate a morning of dragon crafts. Registration required, ages 7 and up.

Creators' Corner Exploration Monday, March 13th from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Join us and learn to use our 3D printer. If you are interested in attending or using the 3D printer please email Paula Carlson: pcarlson@trumbull-ct.gov.

Story Times 2s and 3s Tuesday, March 14th from 10:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. Come join us for story time! We will have a little bit of stories and a show stopping craft. Registration required. Ages 2-3.
