Sunday Live Performance: Nina Et Cetera Sunday, April 2nd from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. Versatile band performed a mix of original songs and covers, blending rock, folk, soul, country, and blues. Join us!

Friends of the Trumbull Library General Meeting Tuesday, April 4th from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. This is a regular meeting of the Friends of the Trumbull Library.  All are invited to attend. The Friends are a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization with the mission to advocate and raise funds for the Trumbull Library.  

The Yarn Darlings Wednesday April 5th from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Bring your knitting, crocheting, needle punching, needle felting, or any other yarn craft to work on while socializing with other crafters. All skill levels are welcome. Registration is requested for the group but not required. Basic knitting and crocheting help are available upon request. Please email Holly Harwood at hharwood@trumbull-ct.gov before the session with basic help requests.

DIY: Spring Macramé Gnome Saturday, April 8th from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. It's spring gnome season! Join us for a lovely spring afternoon to make a small spring gnome. Participants will use macramé cords, yarn, and wooden components to assemble their darling gnomes. Registration is required for this event. All supplies are included.

Movie Matinee at Fairchild Tuesday, April 11th from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Join us for a viewing of Seriously Red. "In this rowdy and rambunctious musical dramedy, Red (Krew Boylan) is at a crossroads in her life. A vivacious and hilarious red-haired woman grappling with high expectations and low self-esteem, she pours herself a cup of ambition and trades her 9-to-5 career in real estate for a life under the spotlight as a Dolly Parton impersonator." While the library has chairs, you are welcomed to bring your own comfortable folding or reclining, camp or beach chair. Register here.

Plan Your Estate Before It’s Too Late Tuesday, April 11th from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. A discussion on wills, estates and legacy giving will answer basic questions to help you get started in thinking about your own plan. A question and answer period will follow the presentation. Moderating the panel will be Rebecca Miller, a wealth and legacy planner specializing in retirement planning. Discussion will be led by Gail Matthews, a local trust and estates attorney. Register here.
Women & Money Roundtable: How to Make Sense of Today’s Financial Markets Wednesday, April 12th from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. The Women and Money Roundtable is a monthly financial literacy program designed to educate women of any age about the financial matters that affect their lives. Adult Fiction Book Club Thursday, April 13th from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. Join us as we read and discuss The Thursday Murder Club by Richard Osman in person at the Trumbull Library. Book Club Grade 1-3 Tuesday, April 4th from 6 p.m. to 6:45 p.m. This month we are reading Alvin Ho: Allergic to Girls, School, and Other Scary Things by Lenore Look. Read the book on your own and then join us for a lively discussion at the library.
Magic Show with Ed Popielarczyk Thursday, April 13th from 6 p.m. to 6:45 p.m. Enjoy an interactive magic show that is fun for the whole family! Recommended for ages 3 and up. Registration is requested but not required. Sign up to receive an email reminder two days before the program.

Toddler Time for 2’s and 3’s Monday, April 3rd from 9:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Toddler time is now drop in! Join Ms. Chelsie in person for stories, songs, and dances. Ages 2-3. 
Baby Time Tuesday, April 4th from 11 a.m. to 11:20 a.m. Ages birth to 2. Join Miss Elise at the library for story time! Listen to a story, sing songs, and perform finger plays. Registration is not required.

Preschool Story Time Thursday, April 6th from 10 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Ages 3-5. Join Miss Katie at the library for story time! Listen to stories, sing songs, and complete a simple craft. Registration is not required.

Creators’ Corner Exploration Monday, April 3rd from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Join us at the Fairchild-Nichols Memorial Library and learn to use our 3D printer. If you are interested in attending or using the 3D printer please email Paula Carlson: pcarlson@trumbull-ct.gov

Storytime 2s and 3s Tuesday, April 4th from 10:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. Come join us for story time! We will have a little bit of stories and a show stopping craft. Registration required. Ages 2-3

Introduction to CAD I Monday, April 10th and Wednesday, April 12th from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. The goal of the CAD program is to allow children to explore and use designing software to build what they imagine. This program will allow kids to take an idea, think about how it is made, and get a chance to make it. Participants are required to bring their own laptop. Registration required, ages 10 and up.

Animal Safari: The Big Cat Caper Wednesday, April 12th from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. On your mark, get set, go! Join Talewise as they guide you through a story called Animal Safari: The Big Cat Caper to get you jumping, moving, and thinking about healthy choices. The entire audience helps the performer tell the story. Children will also develop critical thinking skills as they decide what happens next! Registration required, ages 5 and up.
