Friends of the Trumbull Library General Meeting Tuesday, April 4th from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. This is a regular meeting of the Friends of the Trumbull Library. All are invited to attend. The Friends are a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization with the mission to advocate and raise funds for the Trumbull Library.
The Yarn Darlings Wednesday April 5th from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Bring your knitting, crocheting, needle punching, needle felting, or any other yarn craft to work on while socializing with other crafters. All skill levels are welcome. Registration is requested for the group but not required. Basic knitting and crocheting help are available upon request. DIY: Spring Macramé Gnome Saturday, April 8th from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. It's spring gnome season! Join us for a lovely spring afternoon to make a small spring gnome. Participants will use macramé cords, yarn, and wooden components to assemble their darling gnomes. Registration is required for this event. All supplies are included.
Movie Matinee at Fairchild Tuesday, April 11th from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Join us for a viewing of Seriously Red. "In this rowdy and rambunctious musical dramedy, Red (Krew Boylan) is at a crossroads in her life. Plan Your Estate Before It’s Too Late Tuesday, April 11th from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. A discussion on wills, estates and legacy giving will answer basic questions to help you get started in thinking about your own plan. A question and answer period will follow the presentation. Moderating the panel will be Rebecca Miller, a wealth and legacy planner specializing in retirement planning. Discussion will be led by Gail Matthews, a local trust and estates attorney. Register here.
