Come and see the Connecticut Mural Project's latest banner: "Connecticut Kaleidoscope." Founded in 2021 by Danielle Haniph (St. Joseph High School '23), the Connecticut Mural Project aims to involve the community in building murals. This year, under the sponsorship of the Trumbull Nature and Arts Center and State Senator Marilyn Moore, the Connecticut Mural Project completed a 10 ft x 4 ft traveling banner. The banner features nearly 400 paper butterflies that were painted by second-graders from six elementary schools in Trumbull, Monroe, and Bridgeport. In addition to being displayed at the Trumbull Library (May 1-May 22), the banner will also be on display at the Connecticut Capitol Building in Hartford and at Trumbull Day on July 1st.
