Yoga at the Library Tuesday, June 20th from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Join Joanne Orenstein, Health & Wellness Director at the Lakewood-Trumbull YMCA, for an hour of Vinyasa Yoga. Register here. Please note space is limited. While drop-ins were originally encouraged, due to popular demand we are now asking you to register. The Romantics Book Club Wednesday, June 21st from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Join our new romance book club for patrons 21 years and older! DIY Kindness Rocks Thursday, June 22nd Get ready for summer walks and hike by creating your own kindness rocks to spread along the trail. Using paint, paint pens, and rocks participants will create kindness rocks to tuck along trails or to keep for themselves. All supplies are included. Registration is required for this event.

DIY: String Art Saturday, June 24th from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Join us for an afternoon craft that combines wood, nails, and string to make your very own mini-masterpiece. Registration is required for this event. All supplies are included.

Kids and Teen Programming

Summer Reading Kickoff: Dinosaurs Rock! Saturday, June 17th from 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Join a DINOSAURS ROCK expert for a fun and educational Jurassic journey, complete with museum-quality life-size specimens as the backdrop to exploring the world of dinosaurs and fossils. This will be an unforgettable program filled with learning and laughter. Recommended for ages 5 and up. Registration is required.

Baby Time Tuesday, June 20th from 11 a.m. to 11:20 a.m. Ages birth to 2. Join Miss Elise in the Community Room for storytime! Listen to a story, sing songs, and perform fingerplays. We have a limited number of seat cushions for sitting on the floor, so families are invited to bring blankets or towels as well. Registration is not required. Questions? DINO-ramas for Kids Tuesday, June 20th from 1 p.m. to 2:15 p.m. Make a dinosaur diorama using shoeboxes, mini dinosaurs, plastic plants, construction paper, glue, and more! All supplies will be provided. Ages 7-11. Registration is required.

DINO-ramas for Teens Tuesday, June 20th from 2:30 p.m. to 3:45 p.m. Make a DINO-rama that is straight out of the cretaceous period at this event! Teens ages 12 through 17 will use shoeboxes, mini dinosaurs, plastic plants, construction paper, and glue to create their own distinctive landscape. All supplies are included. Registration is requested but not required for this event.

Panel Picks: YA Book Club Wednesday, June 21st from 5 p.m. to 6:10 p.m. Each month we will read and discuss the first collected volume of a graphic novel or manga series. If applicable, we will watch the first episode or two of the related series, movie trailers, compare other adaptations, etc. as well as discuss the comic itself! This month we are reading Mooncakes by Suzanna Walker. Participants will need to register their library card and create an account on hoopla, if they have not already. Join us.
