The Yarn Darlings Wednesday, August 23rd from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Bring your knitting, crocheting, needle punching, needle felting, or any other yarn craft to work on while socializing with other crafters. All skill levels are welcome. Registration is requested for the group but not required. Basic knitting and crocheting help are available upon request.

Open Mic Night: Poetry Thursday, August 24th from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Join us for our second open mic night of the year in celebration of poetry of all kinds! Read an original, a favorite, or even song lyrics. Is spoken word your thing, we'd love to see you too! A sign-up sheet will be available in the community room for anyone wishing to participate. DIY: Decoupage Seashells Friday, August 25th from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Elevate your seashell collection with this fun decoupage craft. Join us for a fun afternoon where participates will use mod podge, patterned paper, seashell, and paint to create their own distinctive seashell. All supplies are included. Princeton Review Presents: SAT Practice Exam Saturday, August 19th Calling all sophomores and juniors! Enroll now for the Princeton Review’s free SAT Practice Test offered through Trumbull Library! This practice test is a great way to find out how you may score on the SAT without having the score count. Following completion of the test, you will receive a comprehensive score report that indicates areas of strength and weakness.
