Well-Being Wednesday: Lifestyle Medicine with Dr. Raquel Harrison Wednesday, November 15th from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. Struggling to maintain the diet, exercise, and sleep you need? Lifestyle medical specialist, Dr. Raquel Harrison, will help you create and maintain healthy habits that will improve your physical and mental health. In this session: We need food to survive and THRIVE! This workshop will help you deconstruct basic principles in nutrition, so you come away looking at your plate differently. Register here.

Katharine Hepburn: From Hartford to Hollywood Wednesday, November 15th from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. With a stage and film career that spanned six decades, Katharine Hepburn is an American icon. Born and raised in Connecticut, Hepburn had a career in stage, film and television that reflected the changing role of women in broader society.  The story of her life-long ties to Connecticut offers a complete picture of how Hepburn became the woman and the star she was. Knit Beaded Ornament with The Stitching Coach Saturday, November 18th from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Learn to knit with beads and create an ornament that will capture the gleam of your holiday lights. Patrons should be comfortable casting on, knitting-in-the-round, purling and binding off. In class you will conquer adding beads to your knitting with the help of Certified Knitting Instructor, Dawn, The Stitching Coach. Yarn and beads included. Join us!

Get A Clue Mystery Book Club Monday, November 27th from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Join our mystery book club! We will meet virtually every fourth Monday to discuss the book. Copies of this month’s pick will be available at the circulation desk. Join us to discuss this month’s pick Survive the Night by Riley Sager.

Kids and Teen Programming

Toddler Time for 2's and 3's Monday, November 13th from 9:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. Toddler time is now drop in! Join Ms. Chelsie in person for stories, songs, and dances. Ages 2-3.

Baby Time Tuesday, November 14th from 11 a.m. to 11:20 a.m. Ages birth to 2. Join Miss Elise for storytime! Listen to a story, sing songs, and perform fingerplays. Registration is not required. Questions? Email Miss Elise at ebarlow@trumbull-ct.gov. You can find the words to the songs we sing in class here.

Teen Macramé Leaf Hanger Tuesday, November 14th from 5:15 p.m. to 6:15 p.m. Join Miss Katie to make a fall-themed leaf hanger using macramé rope and wooden rods. This is a teen program (ages 12+). Please only register amount of people participating in the craft!

Stuck in the Middle (Grade): Book Club Wednesday, November 15th from 6 p.m. 6:45 p.m. This month we are reading The Iron Trial by Holly Black. The first ten to register can check out a copy from the children's department. Additional participants may join but will be responsible for securing their own copy of the book. This program is for teens in grades 6th - 8th. Register here.

D & D Club Wednesday, November 15th from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Make new friends and take part in exciting adventures! Never played before? No problem! No prior experience with D&D is required and all the materials will be provided. Bring your own character or use one of our pre-made characters. Open to ages 12 and up. Registration is required.
