Knit Beaded Ornament with The Stitching Coach Saturday, November 18th from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Learn to knit with beads and create an ornament that will capture the gleam of your holiday lights. Patrons should be comfortable casting on, knitting-in-the-round, purling and binding off. In class you will conquer adding beads to your knitting with the help of Certified Knitting Instructor, Dawn, The Stitching Coach. Yarn and beads included. Join us!

Get A Clue Mystery Book Club Monday, November 27th from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Join our mystery book club! We will meet virtually every fourth Monday to discuss the book. Copies of this month’s pick will be available at the circulation desk. Join us to discuss this month’s pick Survive the Night by Riley Sager.

The Yarn Darlings Wednesday, November 29th from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Bring your knitting, crocheting, needle punching, needle felting, or any other yarn craft to work on while socializing with other crafters. All skill levels are welcome. We can’t wait to see you there. Registration is requested for the group but not required. 

Do It Yourself: Salt Dough Ornaments Friday, December 1st from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Get your hands dirty this holiday season to create a classic tree ornament with a twist! Participants will use cookie cutters, doilies, and salt dough to create beautiful ornaments. Supplies are included though it is recommended that patrons bring their own rolling pin. Registration is required for this event.

Knit Embroidered Cookie with The Stitching Coach Saturday, December 2nd from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Celebrate the long tradition of decorating gingerbread in a nontraditional program. Learn to embellish your knits with embroidery and create gingerbread people. Patrons will pre-knit their cookies or bring in a knitted item to embellish. In class you will learn to “ice” your knitting with the help of Certified Knitting Instructor Dawn – The Stitching Coach. Register here. 

Nonfiction Book Discussion Wednesday, December 6th from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. Each month we discuss a new and challenging non-fiction book. This month’s read is GOOD TALK by Mira Jacob. If you enjoy learning about new things and different experiences, this group is for you. We are always welcoming new members. Join us!

Year End Review Tuesday, December 12th from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. From Barbie and Oppenheimer to Guardians of the Galaxy III, join film critic Joe Meyers to talk about the best movies of the year and how the Hollywood labor disputes will affect the future of the industry. Register here. 

Well-Being Wednesday: Lifestyle Medicine with Dr. Raquel Harrison Wednesday, December 13th from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. Struggling to maintain the diet, exercise, and sleep you need? In this monthly workshop, lifestyle medicine specialist, Dr. Raquel Harrison, will help you create and maintain healthy habits that will improve your physical and mental health. In this session, let's tackle the management of our energy, and MORE! This workshop will teach you the evidence to optimal movement and its benefit both physically and mentally. Register here. 

Open Mic Night: Poetry Thursday, December 14th from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Join us for our final open mic night of the year in celebration of poetry of all kinds! Read an original, a favorite, or even song lyrics. Is spoken word your thing, we'd love to see you too. Registration is not required but open for those who wish to confirm. Can't wait to see you!

The Real Elvis featuring Nina Et cetera Sunday, December 17th from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Who was Elvis? The Heartthrob? The Scandalous "Elvis The Pelvis"? The Movie Star? Or... a consummate musician who synthesized all the streams of American Music to create a sound unlike any other. Explore Elvis's roots and branches in the Blues, Gospel, Country, Rock and Roll and the genre he defined, Rockabilly. Join Nina Et cetera as they delve deep into Elvis’s extensive catalog playing some well-known favorites, holiday tunes and overlooked gems. Join us!

Toddler Time for 2's and 3's Monday, November 20th from 9:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. Toddler time is now drop in! Join Ms. Chelsie in person for stories, songs, and dances. Ages 2-3.

Baby Time Tuesday, November 21st from 11 a.m. to 11:20 a.m. Ages birth to 2. Join Miss Elise for storytime! Listen to a story, sing songs, and perform fingerplays. Registration is not required. Mini Artists Friday, December 1st from 10:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. A creative and messy art class where we focus on the process rather than the finished product. Ages 3-5. Registration is required.

Children's Fox Face Craft Tuesday, November 28th from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Use scissors, paper, & glue to create a cute fox face! Children WILL be cutting, or need an adult to assist with using scissors. This craft is for ages 5-8. Please only register for the amount of children participating in the craft!

Percy Jackson Book Club Thursday, November 30th from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Let's celebrate the new Percy Jackson book (Percy Jackson and the Chalice of the Gods) and the upcoming TV series with a Percy Jackson Book Club! We will discuss The Last Olympian by Rick Riordan at this meeting. Several library copies of the book will be available for check out at the Children's Desk. Ages 8-12. Registration is required.

Teen String Art Monday, December 4th from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Learn string art basics, how to use hammer, and nails with Vanessa Fasanella. Create a hangable piece of string art, and go home with a reusable pattern. The library will provide winter themed patterns, but participants can bring their own if they'd like! Register here.

D & D Club Wednesday, December 6th from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Make new friends and take part in exciting adventures! Never played before? No problem! No prior experience with D&D is required and all the materials will be provided. Bring your own character or use one of our pre-made characters. Open to ages 12 and up. Registration is required.

Christmas Ornament with Rangoli Art Monday, December 4th from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Rangoli is an art form that originates from in the India, in which symmetrical patterns are created with simple little calculations. Rangoli is done for special events like Diwali. Come join us to make a special ornament for the holidays. Registration required, ages 7 and up.

Food Explorers: Hot Chocolate Mousse Pies Wednesday, December 13th from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.  Join Food Explorers for a delicious holiday cooking program! You’ll be making Hot Chocolate Mousse Pies. You’ll learn how to use the electric mixer to make a delicious hot chocolate mousse filling and homemade whipped cream and assemble in your very own mini pie pan. Recipe is nut free but will contain dairy and gluten. Registration required, ages 9 and up.
