Knit Beaded Ornament with The Stitching Coach Saturday, November 18th from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Learn to knit with beads and create an ornament that will capture the gleam of your holiday lights. Patrons should be comfortable casting on, knitting-in-the-round, purling and binding off. In class you will conquer adding beads to your knitting with the help of Certified Knitting Instructor, Dawn, The Stitching Coach. Yarn and beads included. Join us!
Get A Clue Mystery Book Club Monday, November 27th from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Join our mystery book club! We will meet virtually every fourth Monday to discuss the book. Copies of this month’s pick will be available at the circulation desk. Join us to discuss this month’s pick Survive the Night by Riley Sager.
The Yarn Darlings Wednesday, November 29th from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Bring your knitting, crocheting, needle punching, needle felting, or any other yarn craft to work on while socializing with other crafters. All skill levels are welcome. We can’t wait to see you there. Registration is requested for the group but not required.
Do It Yourself: Salt Dough Ornaments Friday, December 1st from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Get your hands dirty this holiday season to create a classic tree ornament with a twist! Participants will use cookie cutters, doilies, and salt dough to create beautiful ornaments. Supplies are included though it is recommended that patrons bring their own rolling pin. Registration is required for this event.
Knit Embroidered Cookie with The Stitching Coach Saturday, December 2nd from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Celebrate the long tradition of decorating gingerbread in a nontraditional program. Learn to embellish your knits with embroidery and create gingerbread people. Patrons will pre-knit their cookies or bring in a knitted item to embellish. In class you will learn to “ice” your knitting with the help of Certified Knitting Instructor Dawn – The Stitching Coach. Register here.
