The Real Elvis featuring Nina Et cetera Sunday, December 17th from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Who was Elvis? The Heartthrob? The Scandalous "Elvis The Pelvis"? The Movie Star? Or... a consummate musician who synthesized all the streams of American Music to create a sound unlike any other. Explore Elvis's roots and branches in the Blues, Gospel, Country, Rock and Roll and the genre he defined, Rockabilly. Join Nina Et cetera as they delve deep into Elvis’s extensive catalog playing some well-known favorites, holiday tunes and overlooked gems. Join us!

Kids and Teen Programming

Toddler Time for 2's and 3's Monday, December 18th from 9:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. Toddler time is now drop in! Join Ms. Chelsie in person for stories, songs, and dances. Ages 2-3. 

Baby Time Tuesday, December 19th from 11 a.m. to 11:20 a.m. Ages birth to 2. Join Miss Elise for storytime! Listen to a story, sing songs, and perform fingerplays. Registration is not required. Make Your Own Model Race Car Tuesday, December 19th from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Learn basic wooden car model construction, how to use sandpaper, hammer, and nails with Vanessa Fasanella. Go home with a finished racecar! It can serve as a thoughtful and unique gift this holiday season. If there is enough time participants will be able to paint their car, but if not they may do so at home. Space is limited so registration is required. Ages 12 - 17.

Stuck in the Middle (Grade): Book Club Wednesday, December 20th from 6 p.m. to 6:45 p.m. This month we are reading Archival Quality by Ivy Weir. The first ten to register can check out a copy from the children's department. Additional participants may join but will be responsible for securing their own copy of the book. This program is for teens in grades 6th-8th. Register here.

Random Adult Book Club Monday, December 18th from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Come join us for a book club that is exactly that.  "Hot Book" fiction, thrillers, mysteries, memoirs, sci-fi, non-fiction, chick lit... You never know what genre we will explore or rabbit hole we'll go down! Register here.

Creators’ Corner Exploration Wednesday, December 20th from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. Join us and learn to use our 3D printer. If you are interested in attending or using the 3D printer, please email Paula Carlson: pcarlson@trumbull-ct.gov

A Perky Pairing: Coffee and Chocolate Wednesday, January 10th from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. This presentation covers everything there is to know about java! The interesting history, benefits, how and where coffee and chocolate hail from, the famous pioneers in both industries, interactive trivia quiz, best brewing and roasting methods, fun coffee terminology. Please note decaf coffee will be served. Registration required, adults only.
