Drop-in Tech Help Friday, January 12th from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Feeling frustrated or simply in need of a quick tutorial? Drop-in tech help is available to assist you with less complex computer issues that require 15 -20 minutes of help. These sessions are educational in nature, and patrons should have a clear goal of what they would like to learn during their session.

DIY Mini Binders with Amara Friday, January 19th from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Spend the afternoon paper crafting to create your own unique mini binders. We will have book covers, and cardstock on hand for participants to create three (3) mini binders. All supplies provided. Register here. 

Trumbull Historical Society Presents... That's Weird: Bizarre Connecticut Artifacts Saturday, January 20th from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Sponsored by the Trumbull Historical Society, curators from the Connecticut Museum of Culture and History will present That's Weird! Hair jewelry? Creepy puppets? Corpse preserver? This presentation explores some of CMCH’s strangest items. You will learn how even the oddest artifacts can be gateways into a deeper understanding and appreciation of our state’s history. Register here.

Enjoy traveling back with Jack to a time when things were a bit more relaxed, maybe a bit more easy-going…..just like the days when the “King of Cool” himself was at the top of the music charts. Book Dragons Book Club Monday, January 8th from 6 p.m. to 6:45 p.m. This month we are reading Time Jumpers #1: Stealing the Sword by Wendy Mass. Read the book on your own and then join us at the library for a fun discussion, related activity, and snacks. Register here.

Children's DROP IN Paint Chip Bookmarks Tuesday, January 16th from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Drop in to the Merwin Room to create your own bookmark using permanent markers and paint chip samples! Beads, string, and ribbon will also be available to add extra flair to your bookmark. All materials provided. This craft is best suited for ages 8-12. Cuenta Cuentos - A Spanish Storytime Wednesday, January 17th from 10:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. Join us as we read stories, sing and dance to fun songs and rhymes – all in Spanish. For children ages 2 & up. Registration required.

D & D Club Wednesday, January 17th from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Make new friends and take part in exciting adventures! Never played before? No problem! No prior experience with D&D is required and all the materials will be provided. Bring your own character or use one of our pre-made characters. Open to ages 12 and up. Registration is required.
