DIY Upcycled Jewelry Saturday, November 16th from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Bring already-owned costume jewelry that you can break apart to create a new earring, bracelet, or necklace. You can bring your tools like pliers and other accessories you would like to include in remaking your new jewelry. The library can also provide tools like fishing lines, pliers, and other beads. Patrons are encouraged to check out yard sales and thrift stores for low-cost costume jewelry and other materials. We can provide books and websites for them to look at for inspiration. Passport Services Saturday, November 30th from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. We are happy to partner with the Ferguson Library’s U.S. Passport Center to host passport clinics at Trumbull Library. Their team will Process U.S. passport applications; Guide those that are processing renewals for adults; Take passport photo; Provide all forms; Make copies of all documents; Credit card and cash processing. More information about required documents, pricing, and services, please check the Ferguson Library Passport Center Website. Registration not required. First come, first served.

Coastal Mix Holiday Concert Sunday, December 8th from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. It's the holiday season! Come and enjoy some festive music with Coastal Mix. They will sing songs of the season and more. Coastal Mix is an a cappella, mixed voice chorus dedicated to bringing family-friendly entertainment to the community. Formerly known as "The Coastal Chordsmen," they are now a mixed-voice chorus, welcoming all singers regardless of gender. Register here.

End of Year Movies with Joe Meyers Tuesday, December 10th from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Was 2024 a great year for movies? Join film critic Joe Meyers to talk about the best movies of the year and the very best reasons to head to the cinema this holiday season. Register here. 

New Muse Productions presents: A Christmas Carol Sunday, December 15th from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. Join actors Stephen Collins and Poornima Kirby for a funny, heartfelt journey through Charles Dickens' classic, A Christmas Carol. This 1-hour adaptation shows Ebenezer Scrooge’s transformation from a grumpy, selfish misanthrope to a generous, wise and kindly man, full of the spirit of Christmas. With Stephen playing Scrooge and Poornima swiftly changing between the other characters, this fast-paced, playful adaptation keeps the beauty and humor of Dickens’ original text, interspersed with melodious Christmas carols, and even a lively English folk dance. Register here.

Toddler Time (Ages 2-3) Monday, November 18th from 9:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. Join Ms. Chelsie in person for stories, songs, and dances. Ages 2-3.

Pajama Storytime Monday, November 18th from 6 p.m. to 6:45 p.m. Put on your PJs, bring your favorite stuffed animal, and join Miss Nevada for storytime and a simple craft! Ages 3-6. Registration is required.

Baby Time Tuesday, November 19th from 11 a.m. to 11:20 a.m. Ages birth to 2. Listen to a story, sing songs, and perform fingerplays. Registration is not required.

Preschool Time Thursday, November 21st from 10 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Ages 3-5. Join Miss Katie for storytime! Listen to stories and complete a simple craft. Registration is not required.

Book Dragons Book Club Wednesday, November 20th from 6 p.m. to 6:45 p.m. This book club is for kids in grades 1 and 2. This month we are reading The Haunted Library by Dori Butler. Read the book on your own and then join us at the library for a fun discussion, related activity, and snack.* Register here.

Fairchild Storytime (Ages 2-4) Tuesday, November 19th from 10:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. Come join Miss Niki for story time! We will have a little bit of stories a little bit of music and a show stopping craft. Registration required. Ages 2-4. 

Random Adult Book Club Monday, December 2nd from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. You never know what genre we will explore or rabbit hole we'll go down! Come join us for a book club that is exactly that.  "Hot Book" fiction, thrillers, mysteries, memoirs, sci-fi, non-fiction, romance. The book selection for this month is: The Vanishing Half by Brit Bennett. Register here.

Holiday Music Extravaganza with Tom Weber Saturday, December 7th from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. Start the Holiday Season with Tom Weber and his Merry Band of Instruments. Tom’s performances are filled with interactive movement, props, singing, dancing, and lots of energy. His repertoire includes original songs as well as traditional favorites. Tom’s music is intended to get children moving, singing, feeling confident, and having fun! Registration required, all ages.
