Your Library at Home: Managing Your Account Online Saturday, July 12th from 3 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Skip the phone call and skip the desk! Learn how to manage your Trumbull Library account from the comfort of home. We’ll show you how to check due dates, renew books, place holds, pay fines, and reset your PIN—all online, whether you're on your computer or smartphone. 

Earwax Sessions: Vinyl & Coffee Sunday, July 13th from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Earwax Sessions is a monthly listening club where we gather and share our favorite music with each other. You can bring a song and say something about it, or just chill and listen. No pressure. No performance. Free coffee and good people. Drop in or register here.

Vanderbilt Mansions of the Gilded Age Part 1 Monday, July 14th from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. The Vanderbilt family were once the wealthiest family in the United States. Cornelius Vanderbilt amassed a fortune of $100 million, his son doubled it to $200 million. The vast wealth allowed the family to build impressive city mansions and country estates, many of which are preserved. Part One focuses on the New York City and Newport mansions of Cornelius Vanderbilt II and William Kissam Vanderbilt. Register here.

Reel Talk: A Film Discussion Group with Joe Meyers Tuesday, July 15th from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Love movies? Caught up on the latest shows on Netflix or Hulu? Join our film group lead by Film Critic Joe Meyers for lively conversations about films and hit television shows on streaming platforms. Register here. 

Attracting Birds by Season: Presented by Bent of the River Audubon Center Thursday, July 24th from 5:30 p.m. to 6:45 p.m. Having a bird-friendly yard can make for a beautiful view. While most people think immediately of bird feeders to attract birds, we'll also discuss how enhancing your garden with native plants can attract birds and provide sustenance throughout the seasons. Registration is not required, but it will help us gauge the number of attendees, and you will receive a reminder email 2 days before the event.

Digital Basics: Smartphone Skills & Online Safety for Seniors Saturday, July 26th from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Join Dr. Bryan Terry - geriatrician, former RadioShack associate, and founder of Sensible Tech Tutors - for a friendly, hands-on workshop designed to help older adults feel more confident using their smartphones. Learn how to make calls, send texts, take and share photos, and navigate common apps. Dr. Terry will also cover essential online safety tips, including how to spot scams, avoid phishing emails, and protect your personal information. Register here.

Toddler Time (Walkers-Age 3) Monday, July 14th from 10 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Come and join us for some music and movement at the library! We will sing, dance, and read together. This is a drop-in program. No registration required.

The Poop Museum Monday, July 14th from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. This program goes down the sewer, out into space, deep under the sea and back to the time the dinosaurs to explore what happens to all of our poop and is there really such a thing as Poo Power (Spoiler: YES!). Register here. 

Preschool Time (Age 3-5) Monday, July 14th from 2 p.m. to 2:45 p.m. Ages 3-5. Join Miss Kristine for circle time, stories, and complete a simple craft. Registration is not required.

Toddler Time (Walkers-Age 3) Tuesday, July 15th from 10 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Come and join us for some music and movement at the library! We will sing, dance, and read together. This is a drop-in program. No registration required.

New Baby Meet-Up (parent & baby) Tuesday, July 15th from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. Bring your infant to the library for a casual meet-up with other new parents. A perfect opportunity to meet other new parents, chat, compare experiences, find parenting resources, and get out with your new baby. No registration required.

Preschool Time (Ages 3-5) Thursday, July 17th from 10 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Join Miss Katie for circle time, stories, and complete a simple craft. Registration is not required. 

Miss Claudia Sings a Story Friday, July 18th from 10 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Join Miss Claudia for a musical storytime! Ages 2-5. Younger/Older siblings welcome. Registration is not required.

Meet Hank from Hank’s Purpose Friday, July 18th from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. Come to the Library and meet Hank the Therapy Dog! We will read the book, Hank's Purpose, learn about Hank and how he became a therapy dog, and have tons of fun. Books will be available for purchase and signing (by Hank.) Registration is required.

Tiny Tales 2s, 3s and 4s Tuesday, July 15th from 10:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. Come join Miss Niki for story time! We will have a little bit of stories a little bit of music and a show stopping craft. Registration required. Ages 2-4

Lego Fun Time Tuesday, July 15th from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Do you like Legos? Are you a master builder? Do you enjoy making Lego creations with others. Join our Lego Master Michael and show us what you can do!!! Ages 8 and up. Drop in.

Creator's Corner Drop In Wednesday, July 16th from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Drop in and use our 3D printer to create! Ages 8 and up.

Create a Snap Circuit Thursday, July 17th from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Make snap circuit creation on your own with a little help from us! Join our Master Michael and show us what you can do!!! Ages 8 and up. Drop in.
