Blackout Poetry Saturday, April 11th from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. Blackout Poetry is a fun way to experiment with poetry and help us upcycle our old/damaged books. Using a marker and book pages, you cross out words, allowing the remaining words to create a new work of literary art. We'll provide instructions, examples, and materials, and there will be time at the end to share your creation with the group (optional). Register here.

The Yarn Darlings Wednesday, April 15th from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Join our fiber arts group The Yarn Darlings! We will meet every other Wednesday from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Bring your knitting, crocheting, needle punching, needle felting, or any other yarn craft to work on while socializing with other crafters. Silent Book Club Thursday, April 16th from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Do you have trouble making time to read? Is your home full of distractions? Are you an introvert who still enjoys a chance to get out of the house? If any of these situations apply to you, come to a meeting of our own chapter of Silent Book Club. Unlike a traditional book club, there are no assigned readings and no deadlines. Bring a book of your own choosing, or pick out a new one at the library, and we’ll have an hour of silent reading time together. Light refreshments will also be provided, and you can also bring your own snacks or music to listen to (with headphones). Register here.

Ebooks & Audiobooks With Your Library Card Sunday, April 19th from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. Your Trumbull library card gives you free access to thousands of ebooks and audiobooks, anytime, anywhere. We’ll show you how to borrow and enjoy materials through OverDrive/Libby and Hoopla using your smartphone, tablet, or computer. Whether you're into bestsellers, mysteries, or memoirs, you’ll learn how to browse, borrow, and start reading or listening in just a few taps: no late fees, no trip to the library! Register here.
