The Yarn Darlings Wednesday, July 22nd from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Join our fiber arts group The Yarn Darlings! Bring your knitting, crocheting, needle punching, needle felting, or any other yarn craft to work on while socializing with other crafters. All skill levels are welcome. Registration is requested for the group but not required. 

Drop-in Tech Help Friday, July 24th from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Feeling frustrated or simply in need of a quick tutorial? Drop-in tech help is available to assist you with less complex computer issues that require 15 -20 minutes of help. These sessions are educational in nature, and patrons should have a clear goal of what they would like to learn during their session.

Therapy Dog Meet & Greet (All ages) Friday, August 1st from 2:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. Take a break and meet Thor and Wilson! Thor and Wilson are licensed therapy dogs here for children meet and hang out with. In order to keep a calm environment, we are strictly enforcing a small room capacity and rotating families out as needed. This is a drop-in program and registration is NOT required.

Hand-Sewn American Flag Bookmarks (Gr. 6-12) Tuesday, July 28^th from 4 p.m. to 5:15 p.m. Join Stitch & Felt for a fun sewing workshop celebrating America's 250th birthday! You'll learn basic hand sewing skills while creating this patriotic bookmark! Registration is required. Please only register teen participants. Summer Connections: Teen Social Afternoon Wednesday, July 29th from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. The Trumbull Teen Social Club, Summer Connections, will be hosting a game day that is open to all middle and high schoolers who are looking to connect with others over the summer. Bring a board game or just come and play! This event is open to only middle and high school grade students. Registration is required.

The Teen Pop Shop (Gr. 6-12) Friday, July 31st from 2:15 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Learn a quick history of American fountain shops. Then we will make “dirty sodas”, decorate our own take-home cups using water-safe modge podge, and make fruit salads to snack on with the sodas. For grades 6-12. Please register youth participants only. 

ArtSmart: POP Art program (Gr. 6 - 12) Monday, August 3rd from 12 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. Join Kathy Vincent of ArtSmart! Studio for an afternoon of Pop Art Painting! Inspired by the work of American painter Wayne Thiebaud and working in acrylic on canvas, paint a delicious slice of your favorite cake. Slices will be embellished with dimensional "frosting" & glass bead "sprinkles"! This program is for grades 6-12 only. Please only register youth participants.

Creator's Corner Drop In Wednesday, July 22nd from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Drop in and use our 3D printer to create! Ages 8 and up.

Tiny Tales 2s, 3s and 4s Tuesday, July 21st from 10:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. Come join us for story time! We will have a little bit of stories a little bit of music and a show stopping craft. Register here. Ages 2-4.

DIY Crafting Lab Monday, July 27th from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Come join us at the Fairchild library for a "do it yourself" crafting lab.
