    Old Mine Park (Historic Mine Area Dedication)

    The Town of Trumbull is partnering with Save the Sound to host one of many cleanups in Connecticut as part of Ocean Conservancy's International Coastal Cleanup. This global event has motivated people around the world to pick up over 210 million pounds. This will be Trumbull's 3rd annual cleanup which collected over 875 pounds of trash last year alone. Let's exceed this and meet a goal of collecting 1,000 pounds this year! Trumbull residents interested in joining this CT cleanup even to pick up litter should meet at Old Mine Park between 9-11 am on Sunday, September 17th. Participants can bring protective gloves and any other collection tools and buckets. Disposable gloves and trash bags will be provided.
