Community Puzzle Swap Saturday, May 11th from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Take a puzzle, leave a puzzle! Join us to swap out your old jigsaw puzzles for new-to-you puzzles. Puzzles must be 300 pieces or more, in good condition, with all pieces present. Please have the puzzles pieces inside a plastic bag in the box. 

Women and Money Roundtable Wednesday, May 15th from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Join Financial Advisors Julia Strayer and Liz Maccarone as they host The Women and Money Roundtable. This series is a virtual, monthly financial literacy program designed to educate women of any age about the financial matters that affect their lives. The program provides information, resources and learning activities to educate and create a safe and welcoming place for women to learn, share their experiences, and ask questions. Register here. 

Rails to Back Trails: Trumbull Bike Tour Sunday, May 19th from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Local Trumbull Historian Sue Del Bianco will take cyclists back in time to when train was king in the Trumbull Valley. Sue will be stopping off at many historical points-of-interest along the rail-trail: a cow tunnel, site of a train wreck, remains of an amusement park, a mill, a mining company, two train stations, and a reputed witch's gravesite. Dungeons & Dragons for Adults Monday, May 20th from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Discover the enchanting world of Dungeons and Dragons! Contrary to popular belief, D&D isn't just for kids—it's a game beloved by people of all ages who crave excitement and storytelling. Have you always wanted to learn but never knew where to start? Now's your chance! Our introductory group provides a welcoming space for adults to dive into the realms of fantasy, learn the ropes, and embark on unforgettable adventures. Register here.

Book Dragons Book Club Monday, May 6th from 6 p.m. to 6:45 p.m. Book Dragons Book Club is for kids in grades 1 and 2. This month we are reading The Alien Next Door #1: The New Kid by A. I. Newton. Read the book on your own and then join us at the library for a fun discussion, related activity, and snack.* Register here. 

Mother's Day Craft Night Wednesday, May 8th from 5:30 p.m. to 6:15 p.m. Get ready for Mother's Day with different stations to make the perfect gift for mom! We will be making cards and bouquets of flowers out of pipe cleaners and paper. Registration is required.

Preschool Mother’s Day Craft Friday, May 10th from 10:30 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. Join Miss Katie to make a "Bluey" themed Mother's Day card! Registration is required. Pajama Storytime Monday, May 13th from 6 p.m. to 6:45 p.m. Put on your PJs, bring your favorite stuffed animal, and join Miss Nevada for storytime and a simple craft! Ages 3-6. 
Registration is required.

Chapter Chatter Book Club Tuesday, May 14th from 6 p.m. to 6:45 p.m. Join Miss Katie for the new 3-5 grade book club, Chapter Chatter! We will meet monthly on Tuesdays at 6PM to discuss that month's pick. The first ten children registered may pick up a library copy of that month's pick! Register here. 

Little Scientists Friday, May 17th from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Join us for hands-on, messy activities focused on different scientific topics. Ages 3-5. Registration is required. Please only register for the amount of little ones participating, not the adult!

TEEN PROGRAMMING

Tween/Teen Spa Day Saturday, May 25th from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Join us for an afternoon of relaxation! Each participant will make and go home with their very own lip scrub, leave in conditioner spray, and salt body scrub to get their next spa day on! Registration is required. Please only register for the child(ren) participating, not the adult! This program is for ages 10-17.

Storytime 2's and 3's Tuesday, May 7th from 10:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. Come join us for story time! We will have a little bit of stories and a show stopping craft. Registration required. Ages 2-3

Adult Craft Time Wednesday, May 8th from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Kick off the summer with a patriotic craft. Join us for a fun evening making a hanging wooden sign with red, white and blue stars. Paint, design, and glitter your own creation. Registration required, ages 12 and up.

D&D Club – Daggerheart Wednesday, May 15th from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. In this month’s D&D Club, players will get to experience the new fantasy tabletop roleplaying game from Darrington Press and the creators of Critical Role: DAGGERHEART! Play as a Ribbet Rogue, a Katari Ranger or an Elf Sorcerer as you explore this vibrant world of brave heroics! Daggerheart is currently in beta testing which means you’ll get to try a new tabletop roleplaying game before it’s even been published! Open to ages 12 to 18. Registration is required.
