Trivia Nights: Music Tuesday, July 16th from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Come join us for some fun MUSIC TRIVIA,  all-original music trivia questions that span many generations and music genres.  We'll throw in a little "Name that Tune" of sorts to keep you on your toes. We know Elvis is the King but let's see who the real music champs are. If you like music, you're gonna have to be here for this one. Register here.

Passport Services Wednesday, July 17th from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. We are happy to partner with the Ferguson Library’s U.S. Passport Center to host passport clinics at Trumbull Library. Their team will Process U.S. passport applications; Guide those that are processing renewals for adults; Take passport photo; Provide all forms; Make copies of all documents; Credit card and cash processing. Please be aware that the payment to The U.S. Department of State for the passport book or card, must be made with a check or money order. The payment for processing and pictures, that is made to the Ferguson Library, can only be paid cash, debit or credit card. Women & Money Roundtable Wednesday, July 17th from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Join Financial Advisors Julia Strayer and Liz Maccarone as they host The Women and Money Roundtable. This series is a virtual, monthly financial literacy program designed to educate women of any age about the financial matters that affect their lives. The program provides information, resources and learning activities to educate and create a safe and welcoming place for women to learn, share their experiences, and ask questions. Register here.

KIDTEEN

Toddler Time for 2s & 3s Monday, July 15th from 9:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. Toddler time is now drop in! Join Ms. Chelsie in person for stories, songs, and dances. Ages 2-3. 

Baby Time Tuesday, July 16th from 11 a.m. to 11:20 a.m. Ages birth to 2. Listen to a story, sing songs, and perform fingerplays. Registration is not required.

Baby Time Wednesday, July 17th from 11 a.m. to 11:20 a.m. Ages birth to 2. Listen to a story, sing songs, and perform fingerplays. Registration is not required.

Preschool Time Thursday, July 18th from 10 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Ages 3-5. Join Miss Katie for storytime! Listen to stories and complete a simple craft. Registration is not required.

Spy Training Saturday, July 20th from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Calling all recruits! Come on down to the Trumbull Library for a morning of top secret spy training! All materials provided. This event is for ages 8-11 and registration is required. Please only register for the child(ren) participating, not the adult.  
iSpy Bottles Tuesday, July 23rd from 6 p.m. to 6:45 p.m. Make an iSpy Bottle out of a plastic bottle, rice, and other fun little trinkets like buttons, paperclips, mini figurines, and more! All materials provided, but participants are encouraged to bring any trinkets from home they might want to add to their bottle. This event is for ages 5-8 and
registration is required. Please only register for the child(ren) participating, not the adult.

TEEN

Teen Space Dioramas Monday, July 15th from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Make an out of this world diorama that is straight out of space at this event! Teens ages 12 through 17 will use shoeboxes, plastic miniatures, construction paper, pebbles and glue to create their own distinctive space-scapes. All supplies are included. Registration is requested but not required for this event.

Chess Club Thursday, July 18th from 6:45 p.m. to 7:45 p.m. All ages and skill levels are invited to play. Please bring a chess board if you own one. Registration is requested but not required.

Teen Virtual Escape Room Wednesday, July 24th from 12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m. During this program, teens will work in groups to solve puzzles from virtual escape rooms provided by the Shelburne Museum and Escape the Crate. There will be two escape rooms with an hour each to escape. This program is for teens ages 12 - 17. Registration is requested but not required. 

Fairchild Nichols

Fairchild Cooking: Ravioli Wednesday, July 24th from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Join us for an exploration of food and cooking. Learn to make Ravioli. This program is designed to teach even the most inexperienced cooks the joy of cooking from scratch. Registration required, adults only. Please bring your own apron.

Let's Bubble Poppin' Boogie! Saturday, August 3rd from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. Get ready to pop some bubbles and boogie at this Children's Music and Story Time event with Joy Blooms!  Joy will encourage music and movement with her catchy and interactive songs and present a reading of "Curly's Fun With Bubbles" by Sherry Boddie. Ages 2 and up, registration required.

Food Explorers: Fruit Crumbles Monday, August 5th from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Join Food Explorers for a delicious cooking program! You’ll be making Fruit Crumbles. Recipe is nut free but will contain dairy and gluten. Registration required, ages 9 and up.

Random Adult Book Club Monday, August 5th from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. Come join us for a book club that is exactly that. "Hot Book" fiction, thrillers, mysteries, memoirs, sci-fi, nonfiction, chick lit. You never know what genre we will explore or rabbit hole we'll go down! We meet the fourth Monday of each month. The book selection for this month is: Golden Girl by Elin Hilderbrand. Register here.
