Notice to Our Neighbors: Construction Begins Soon
New Hillcrest Middle School Project | Start Date: Week of August 3, 2026
Dear Neighbor,
Bismark Construction Co., Inc. is proud to serve as Construction Manager for the new Hillcrest Middle School project. Construction activities will be starting shortly, and we would like to thank you in advance for your patience and understanding as we complete this important project for our community.
Working Hours
Monday - Friday: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Occasional work outside these hours may be necessary due to weather, inspections, utility work, or unforeseen circumstances.
What You Can Expect
- Site Access: Construction vehicles entering and leaving site at Daniels Farm Road Entrance.
- Deliveries: Delivery trucks operating during normal work hours.
- Site Controls: Temporary construction noise, dust control, and daily site cleanup.

Emergency Access Note: Expanding the entrance on Harvest Hill for Emergency Vehicles ONLY. Harvest Hill will NOT be used for construction vehicles.
Preliminary Site Logistics
- Site Contract starts week of August 3rd, 2026
- Establish perimeter fencing & site access
- Start geothermal well field work & site prep
- Temporary access road
- Dedicated Fire Lanes maintained at all times
Safety First - Help Us Keep Everyone Safe
- Stay outside all construction fencing.
- Keep children and pets away from the work area.
- Observe all posted signs and traffic controls.
- Never enter the construction site without authorization.
- Authorized personnel only beyond fencing.

July 17, 2026 Update
The Hillcrest Middle School Project is proceeding on schedule and currently under budget. The projected occupancy date remains as of the fall semester 2028. Construction of the new school will be substantially complete in the spring of 2028 with punch list items to follow. The move into the new school will be completed in the summer of 2028.
In the short term, the Town’s construction manager’s subcontractors will mobilize on site on August 3, 2026 and temporary fencing will be erected around the site. A public groundbreaking ceremony is planned for mid-September. The Phase One site work is currently under the projected budget for both the base bids and for certain alternates for the project.
January 2026 Hillcrest Building Committee Update
The building committee for the new Hillcrest Middle School has been meeting regularly to move this project forward. The committee has selected an architectural firm (TSKP), an owner’s project manager (Arcadis), and a construction manager(Bismark Construction).
