Sustainable Team
The Sustainable Trumbull Team is a citizen-led group, formed by the First Selectman, working to make our town more fiscally, socially, and environmentally sustainable. We are proud to be a municipality which has been awarded the Sustainable CT Certification, a town which is on the path to using clean, renewable energy sources and encourages recycling efforts as well as local sustainable practices. Tax Partnership Screening Committee
In an effort to make Trumbull more competitive in the region, increase the grand list, encourage the renewal of under-performing properties, and to encourage business expansion that creates new jobs, the Town of Trumbull has adopted a Tax Incentive Program Ordinance.

This committee was formed in January 2022 to plan and oversee construction of the weight room/wellness center and related improvements at Trumbull High School.

The Town created a Housing Authority, which consists of 5 members, each of whom shall be appointed by the First Selectman.

The Veterans & First Responders Center Building Committee was formed to plan, design, seek grant funding for, and oversee the construction of a new facility

The Water Pollution Control Authority shall have all the powers and duties conferred or imposed by law on Water Pollution Control Authorities.

Zoning Board of Appeals
The Zoning Board of Appeals has monthly public hearings on petitions for Special Exceptions variances of the zoning regulations and appeals from orders of any official, who is charged with enforcement of the zoning regulations.
