The Town of Trumbull offers a Household Hazardous Waste Collection program each year. Trumbull, Monroe, and Easton residents may participate. Residents will be required to show their Connecticut Driver’s License when they drop off their hazardous waste materials.
The Town of Trumbull offers an annual loose leaf collection program that begins in the Fall and and runs until leaves have been collected in each neighborhood.
The Town of Trumbull offers an annual Large Item Pickup Program to help residents dispose of items that are difficult for most homeowners to transport. The program begins in April and continues through the end of September. There is no additional charge to use the Large Item Pickup Program.
The Town does not pick up "live" Christmas trees curbside. They should be taken by your trash hauler, or they can be brought by the homeowner to the TEaM Transfer Station on Spring Hill Road.
Trumbull residents may bring "live" Christmas trees to the TEaM Transfer Station on Spring Hill Road for free disposal.
Please note that trees should not be in plastic bags and all decorations such as tinsel, ornaments and lights must be removed.
Alternatively, you may directly contact your residential trash hauler to ask if arrangements can be made through them for curbside pick-up of "live" Christmas Trees.
