[ARCHIVED] Important Message from Marc Guarino, Principal Trumbull High School

Trumbull High School (PNG)

Good evening,

I wanted to share with the school community some unsettling rumors that were circulating at the end of the school day today.  There was not a threat nor a report of threat made against the school in general, either today or for tomorrow.  This afternoon and into this evening, the school administration and the Trumbull Police Department worked jointly to investigate these rumors.  We spoke with the parties involved and these rumors are unfounded.   We will continue to work with the Trumbull Police Department on these and any rumors or threats made to students and the school. Even though there is no credibility to these rumors, we will have a greater police presence at our school tomorrow.  I understand the impact this has on the school community given the events in Michigan last week and across the state this week.

Trumbull High School will be open tomorrow for a normal day of school.

Sincerely,

Marc Guarino
Principal
Trumbull High School
