This is First Selectman Vicki Tesoro.
As you may know in the fall of 2021, as required by Connecticut law, Trumbull underwent a property revaluation process. Property owners received an individual notice of their new assessment in January.
If you intend to appeal your new assessment you must file an application to appeal with the Tax Assessor’s office no later than this Friday, March 18th, 2022.
This application is available online or in the Tax Assessor's office in Town Hall.

Again, this form must be completed and received by the Tax Assessor's office by this Friday, March 18th, 2022.
Petitions filed after Friday, March 18th, 2022, by law, cannot be accepted.
A separate form is required for each property to be reviewed and the explanation section should be as complete as possible.
The Board of Assessment Appeals will hold hearings on April 5, 7, and 12, 2022. Applicants will be notified of their hearing date, time, and location.
Appearance in person before the Board of Assessment Appeals is required.
Motor Vehicle Appeals (not supplemental Motor Vehicle) are held only in September.
