(10/19/22 Update) The Town of Trumbull is seeking input from the community on what projects should be included in the use of American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds. Please submit your suggestions using our American Rescue Plan Act Suggestion Form. Please Note: This link for public comment on the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) will be closed on Friday, October 21, 2022.
On Thursday, October 27th, a joint meeting of the Town Council and the Board of Finance will be held in the Trumbull High School auditorium to continue discussion of the suggested uses of the ARPA funds, begun at a joint meeting on September 1st. The meeting will be held at 7 PM. At this meeting, the Town Council and the Board of Finance will listen to comments from the public as to suggested uses of ARPA funding. To allow time for the Town Council and the Board of Finance to continue their discussion, we ask that Public Comments be limited to three (3) minutes per speaker.
On Thursday, November 17th, a formal Public Hearing will be held regarding the ARPA funds. This will again provide residents with an opportunity to comment on possible uses. Location to be determined. More information to follow.

The Town of Trumbull has $5.46 million dollars remaining to support important community projects and programs. The First Selectman has asked the Town Council and Board of Finance to develop a plan for the use of these funds. A joint meeting of the two bodies was held on September 1, 2022 to listen to a presentation by the First Selectman and Department Heads on proposed projects. Community input will be shared to aid in the decision making process.
