Trumbull Public Schools (JPG)

Please join us for our first discussion about the Board of Education District Master Plan on Thursday, 11/03/22 at Booth Hill School, 6:00 to 8:00 PM

About the Workshop:

Our first workshop will be a big picture event that will include a brief presentation outlining the scope of work, goals for the project, and work completed to date. After the presentation, the floor is yours! We want to listen and understand what aspects of the plan are important to you.  Our team (Tecton Architects) will facilitate an interactive dialogue where you can express your thoughts and concerns, ask questions, and discuss topics. With your input, this important first step will help shape the direction of the master plan!

Topics to Get Your Started:

  1. What works well, what doesn’t?
  2. What is missing or needed?
  3. What is the biggest challenge?
  4. What affects the quality of education most?
  5. What affects the student experience most?
  6. What affects the teacher experience most?
  7. What does the future of education look like?
  8. What bold goal do you suggest?
  9. If only...

About the Project:

The District-Wide Master Plan will analyze the existing school facilities, conduct a demographic study for enrollment projections, and identify a planning strategy for future educational delivery and building use that will serve the Town’s student population for the next 10 to 15 years.  This process will engage the entire community including a diverse group of school administrators, students and faculty, committee members, businesses, Town staff and residents.

Board of Education Mission Statement:

The Trumbull Public School System, in partnership with the community, strives to meet the educational needs of all students within a challenging  and supportive academic environment that empowers each student to become a life-long learner and to live and participate in a democratic, diverse and global society.
