A large tree has fallen across the Pequonnock River Trail in the middle of the section between Tait Road and Whitney Avenue. The tree will be removed during the day on Wednesday, April 26, 2023. Until that time, users may find that the trail is impassable.
In addition, tomorrow, April 25, 2023, UI will be removing two trees near the entrance to the trail at Tait Road. There will be no trail access from Tait Road from tomorrow morning until UI has completed its work.
