(10/20/23 Update) Trumbull Police detectives are asking for public assistance to identify those responsible for an armed robbery that occurred last week at the Shell gas station on White Plains Road. The suspects, two (2) young black males, entered the business near closing time on Monday, October 9th, and pistol-whipped the clerk with a semi-automatic handgun. After stealing cash and merchandise, they fled to a vehicle that was waiting nearby on Brock Street. The suspects have not been identified but are shown in the attached photos that were captured during the robbery.
(10/10/23 Original Post) Last night, the Shell gas station at 648 White Plains Road was robbed by two (2) young men, one of whom threatened the clerk with a handgun. The suspects struck the clerk in the head with the pistol, then fled with cash and other merchandise stolen from the store. Police were unable to locate the get-away vehicle thar was waiting nearby.
On Monday, October 9, 2023, at 11:51 PM, the Trumbull Police received calls reporting an armed robbery at the Shell gas station. Both suspects were described as Black males in their late teens, or early 20’s of age, wearing dark clothing, hoodies, ski masks, and both were approximately 5’7” in height.
Detectives are actively investigating and are asking anyone with information to contact the Trumbull Police Department at (203) 261-3665.
