UPDATE FOR WETLANDS APPLICATION FOR 5 & 15 PLUM TREE LANE: REVISED SCHEDULE FOR PUBLIC HEARING
The Town provides the following update regarding the public hearing for the application pending before the Trumbull Inland Wetlands & Watercourses Commission (IWWC) concerning the property known as 5 & 15 Plum Tree Lane. At its September 2, 2025 meeting, the IWWC heard an initial presentation from the applicant. The Commission voted to (i) obtain a report from an independent third-party wetlands expert and (ii) open a public hearing on October 7. The independent report will not be completed before that date. All parties agreed to reschedule the public hearing so the Commission and the public may receive and review the report in advance.
The public hearing is now expected to be held on November 13, 2025. Public comment will be taken at that time. Further details will be posted on the Town website prior to the meeting.
