[ARCHIVED] 2019 United Illuminating Enhanced Tree Trimming Program

United Illuminating (UI) has announced that the sixth phase (year) of their “Enhanced Tree Trimming Program" is scheduled to begin this fall.  Work planners from the U.I. are currently contacting property owners to sign a “Consent Form” to ensure that the owners approve the proposed work within their immediate area. The tree work is scheduled to begin immediately thereafter.

2) Madison Ave.

3) Lake Ave.

4) Wildwood Dr.

5) Tanglewood Rd.

6) Stonehouse Rd.

7) Main St.

8) Whitney Ave.

9) Riverside Dr.

10) Indian Ledge Park Rd.

11) Daniels Farm Rd.

12) McGuire Rd.

13) Hurd Rd.

14) Booth Hill Rd.

If a property owner has questions regarding the pruning or removal of Town trees, they should contact the Tree Warden or Deputy Tree Warden at (203) 452 5061 or (203) 395-1710 for assistance. Property owners that are located on Main St. (Rt. 25) should contact the Department of Transportation at (203) 389-3008.
