Yesterday Governor Lamont and I hosted a conference call with over 5,000 people to talk about what the state has done and is planning to do to support our businesses impacted by COVID-19. We want to thank everyone who participated and shared their thoughts and questions. We’ll be taking all of it into consideration as we forge a path forward toward economic recovery.
During the call the Governor mentioned our new bridge-loan program that we’re setting up to help small and medium-sized businesses. We’re finalizing the details, so expect to hear more about it early next week. Our goal is to make the loan process as simple as possible.
