Who can shop?
The Pantry is available to all Trumbull residents who meet income guidelines.
How do residents access the Pantry?
The Pantry is located at the rear of The Center at Priscilla Place. Shopping is by appointment only. An initial application is completed including submission of photo ID, proof of income and address verification (i.e. - bank statement & recent mail.) Re-qualification is required annually.
How often can residents visit The Pantry?
Once a calendar month for 30 minutes of full pantry shopping
Once a week for fresh produce and bagels.
What are The Pantry hours?
- Monday & Thursday from 11:00am-3:30pm
- Tuesday 10:00am-3:30pm
- Friday 10:00am-11:30am
- Closed on Wednesday* hours are subject to change
How much can a shopper take?
This depends on the size of the family and the availability of certain foods. Limits are marked on the shelves.
How can I make donations?
Donations can be made directly to the food pantry at 23 Priscilla Place (rear) between the hours of 9am-4pm. Collection boxes are also available throughout Trumbull, at the Stop and Shop, Library and J Bagels & Café. Large or group donations should be coordinated with the pantry directly.

- Pasta/Sauce/Tomatoes
- Coffee/tea
- Potatoes/Rice
- Condiments
- Shelf stable milk
- Hot chocolate/juice
- Tuna/canned fish-meat
- Hot/cold cereal
- Low sodium canned beans, soups, vegetables
- Low sugar cereals, canned fruit, maple syrup
- No corn, green beans, gravy or stuffing, please!
Personal grooming items:
- Antiperspirant/deodorant
- Soap/body wash
- Diapers/wipes/baby food
- Shampoo/Conditioner
- Feminine Hygiene
- Mousse/Hairspray
- Razors/shave cream
- Toothbrushes/toothpaste
Household Items:
- Laundry detergent
- Dish soap
