What criteria needs to be met to qualify for a test?
To meet criteria for testing, patients will likely have at least one of the following symptoms present during the pre-screen: Fever, cough, sore throat, chills, general malaise. Essential Workers (health care workers, first responders, postal workers, grocery store workers, delivery drivers, etc) do not need to have symptoms present to quality for testing, but do need to schedule a car-side evaluation to be pre-screened prior to the drive-through testing event. There are other criteria to be met to qualify for the testing itself, in addition to any of the above symptoms. These criteria include exposure to a confirmed case of COVID-19, active healthcare workers, patients over age 60 and patients with underlying health issues.

Why don’t I qualify for testing?
Because of limited supplies and in accordance with CDC guidelines, testing is limited to high-risk patients How is my sample for testing collected? While the patient remains in their vehicle, a sample of nasal secretions will be collected by carefully inserting the swab into the nostril exhibiting the most visible drainage, or the nostril that is most congested if drainage is not visible. The swab is inserted approximately 1 inch into the nasal passage. In many cases, the patient will be asked to perform this swabbing themselves.
How much does the test cost?
There is no charge to you. I don’t drive. Can I walk in? No. For the safety of patients and providers, we are currently limiting testing to drive-up patients only.
Do I need an appointment?
Yes. Tests are limited and everyone must schedule an appointment online in order to be tested.
Can I schedule in advance?
All test sites provide same-day scheduling. Tests at some sites can be scheduled up to two days in advance.
