The Town of Trumbull is disappointed to announce the cancellation of this year’s Trumbull Arts Festival, which was scheduled to be held September 13, 2020.
Due to COVID-19, many vendors are reluctant to attend due to social distancing issues with the crowds that annually attend this event. The town has monitored other outdoor events such as art shows and festivals held in towns such as Stamford, Newtown, Seymour, and Milford. All have cancelled their fall events.
Events like the Trumbull Arts Festival require months of planning, preparation, and fundraising. COVID-19 has certainly impacted these plans. With few vendors willing to participate and a very short window to prepare, there is little choice but to cancel for 2020.
We look forward to a robust Trumbull Arts Festival in 2021.
