TREX Plastic Recycling:
A few more weeks and it’s here. TREX Plastic wrap challenge beginning February 1, 2021. Start collecting plastic wrap that is stretchy and/or is labeled #2 and #4 can be conveniently dropped at Stop & Shop in the collection bin at the front entrance. Once you start saving up your wrap, you'll be shocked to see how much was being tossed into the garbage. IF you can't drop off at Stop n Shop, you can bring accepted plastic to our monthly recycling drive at Trumbull High School, 2nd Saturday of every month, 9am-12pm.
Trumbull Cleanups:
Monthly trash collection challenge: Pick any day and time to collect trash around town. Log your cleanup results using the Clean Swell app or email us with a picture and collection totals. Since it's 2021, let's aim to collect 221 pounds MONTHLY for the entire year. Community service hours available for students.
