INFORMATION FOR TRUMBULL RESIDENTS ELIGIBLE TO REGISTER FOR THE COVID-19 VACCINE EFFECTIVE MARCH 1, 2021 (Includes 55 and Older, Teachers & Healthcare Providers)

In an effort to ensure Connecticut continues taking the most equitable and efficient approach to quickly administering the COVID-19 vaccine to as many people as possible, Governor Ned Lamont has announced that the state will continue expanding access going forward on an age-based schedule.

The State of CT is currently vaccinating healthcare personnel, medical responders and staff and individuals 55 and older. Effective March 1st, pre-k through 12 school staff and teachers and professional childcare providers are eligible to get vaccinated as well.

To schedule an appointment, we recommend:

  • Registering on-line at www.portal.ct.gov  and make an appointment through VAMS.  VAMS is the Vaccine Administration Management System and can be used to schedule appointments at multiple clinics across the state
  • If you are currently eligible for a vaccination and have not already made an appointment, please call Griffin Health at 203-433-3394 to speak to an appointment scheduling specialist.

Please understand that vaccine supply remains limited and that it is expected to take at least a month statewide for those eligible to schedule their first dose.   Appointments continue to be scheduled as vaccine arrives weekly.

Over the coming weeks, eligibility will expand based on age according to the following schedule:

  • March 1, 2021: Expands to ages 55 to 64
  • March 22, 2021: Expands to ages 45 to 54
  • April 12, 2021: Expands to ages 35 to 44
  • May 3, 2021: Expands to ages 16 to 34
