Omicron is a new variant of SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19. Omicron was first detected in the United States on December 1, 2021. The Trumbull Health Department encourages all residents to continue to take steps to slow the spread of the disease.
- Get vaccinated – everyone 5 years of age and older are eligible for vaccinations.
- Those 18 years and older should consider getting the COVID-19 vaccine booster.
- Wear a mask – CDC recommends everyone 2 years of age and older to wear a mask in public indoor settings.
- Keep your distance – stay at least 6 feet away from people outside your home.
- Wash your hands often – wash hands with soap and water for a least 20 seconds.

We are currently fully booked and no longer taking covid vaccination and booster appointments.
We will be opening appointments in January, 2022 and all appointments will be need to be scheduled through VAMS.
