[ARCHIVED] Town Hall Operations: COVID-19 Update

Town of Trumbull Seal

Trumbull Town departments and buildings are open to the public for normal business hours except as noted below:

Through Friday, January 28th, 2022, people wishing to visit town offices OTHER THAN the Tax Collector, Town Clerk, and/or the Building Department are asked to call first to verify that the person they wish to see is in the office. Town Hall, like so many places, is dealing with Covid-19 cases and exposures and has had to make some adjustments. Please call ahead to verify that the person you wish to see is on the premises.

The Tax Assessor’s Office is closed to the public until further notice due to Covid-related staffing issues. If you have a question for the Tax Assessor’s Office, please call 203-452-5016 or email rvitale@trumbull-ct.gov and your call or email will be returned. Those visiting the Tax Collector’s Office, please be aware that the office will close for lunch from 12 PM to 1 PM and will close for the day at 4:30 PM. The Town Clerk’s Office will close for lunch from 1 PM until 2 PM and will close for the day at 5 PM. Please plan your visit accordingly.

The Trumbull Library, if the emergency lighting repairs are completed, will be open Monday through Thursday 9-8, Friday and Saturday 9-5. There will be no Sunday hours on January 9th or January 16th. The Fairchild Wheeler Library will operate on a normal schedule.

We will reevaluate the situation at the end of the second week.
